It tastes of that sweet caramel malt along a good hops bite leading into a mildly bitter finish. Pretty good, definitely better than the first three brews in my sampler. Pours a nice deep amber with a thin off white head and has some lacing. Sweet aroma with floral hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet malts that intensify as it warms with a hoppy balance. The mouthfeel is medium and kind of watery.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Reddish amber with a mammoth tan head that fades away slowly to reveal beer that’s not really worth drinking. Aroma is very grainy and yeasty, somewhat sour. Body is astringent, over carbonated and chewy with a tongue pursing off-bitter finish. Boy am I glad I have three more Estes park bottles to go through. Ugh. hopdog (5607), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
