Oct 3, 2009 draft at the brewpub - Pours amber with a caramel malt aroma. It tastes of that sweet caramel malt along a good hops bite leading into a mildly bitter finish. Pretty good, definitely better than the first three brews in my sampler.

Sep 2, 2009 12oz bottle (also 12oz bottle of Stanley Hotel Redrum ale). Pours a nice deep amber with a thin off white head and has some lacing. Sweet aroma with floral hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet malts that intensify as it warms with a hoppy balance. The mouthfeel is medium and kind of watery.

Jan 29, 2009 A little malt in the aroma. This is a decent red. A bit malty, a hint of hops and sweetness. Decent but nothing great.

Oct 26, 2008 Amber brown, aroma of caramel and fruity hops. A nicely made hopped-up amber with a medium bitter finish. well done as a drinkable session star!

Sep 1, 2008 Reddish amber with a mammoth tan head that fades away slowly to reveal beer that’s not really worth drinking. Aroma is very grainy and yeasty, somewhat sour. Body is astringent, over carbonated and chewy with a tongue pursing off-bitter finish. Boy am I glad I have three more Estes park bottles to go through. Ugh.

Aug 7, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, tea leaves, and earthy. Tastes of caramel, lighter earthiness, and toasty. Thinner body.

Mar 26, 2008 Amber in color. Extremely thin head that fades quickly. Very sweet, malty aroma. Sweet malt taste in the front......smooth mouthfeel. Balanced bitterness in the back, with a slightly dry aftertaste.
