Commercial Description:
This year’s Christmas offering is an American Red brewed with American and Czech hops. We then added some cinnamon, ginger, cloves, orange peel, nutmeg, and star anise. We let the beer sit with the spices until the flavors came through without being overwhelming. The result is a tasty beer with all the favorite flavors of the holidays. 36 IBU

on tap-pours a patchy light tan head that laces and mahogany color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, spice-nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon with some sharpness. Taste is sweet medium malt, spice-nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, some sharpness, slightly abrasive, secondary earthy/spice hops. Some chocolate/anise comes through mid to after taste. Soft carbonation.
