Feb 14, 2007 Within the context of the style, this is a fantastic offering. It pours a ruby-red color with a pinkish tinge, similar to that of cranberry juice. A light brown, fizzy head forms with fair lacing in its wake. Aroma is of harsh, sweet malts with hints of molasses. Initial taste is lightly sweet, ever-so-slowly shifting to a very light bitter finish with a buttery feel. Short duration. Light to medium bodied, it has a watery texture with lively carbonation.
This has a richer color than the Killian’s, and is certainly better constructed. Amber said it’s Hoptastic.

Dec 30, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head and red color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet/caramel. Taste is medium malt-sweet/burnt caramel, nutty, secondary hops bitterness. OK carbonation.
