ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Nov 12, 2004 On tap at Anam Cara Belgian Month. Hazy golden brown color with small white head. Aroma is fairly yeasty and grassy. Taste is floral with a dry bitterness. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Nov 11, 2004 Brewed as the Official Beer of the BBF. Hazy gold color with little head retention. Aroma was slightly fruity with mellow floral hops. Taste is light lemon and yeasty with a very lively mouthfeel. More flavors of apricot come in as the beer comes up in temp. Tart with some maltiness on the beack. Very freakin good. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Nov 9, 2004 2004 draught@ BBF. Light brownish-tan-beige color, light haze, with a small wispy white head. Aroma is a ton of dry yeast, moldy, cobwebby and earthy. Has notes of malt and a touch of bitterness. Flavor is belgian yeast all amped up with some sugar and a bit of hops. Slight amount of alcohol, lots of dryness on the finish. Well-made but unremarkeable, IMO.
