Jun 24, 2004 Pours a medium golden peach, with a large creamy white head that mostly lasts, lacing in sheets. Aroma is dominated by banana and clove, with a bit of breadiness in there as well. Flavor follows the aroma, with lots of banana and clove. Medium bodied, and another etremely drinable brew from the Tap.
Something about the beers here makes them super easy to drink - no off-flavors, very smooth, and just plain old addictive.

Jan 4, 2004 On tap at The Tap: Cloudy yellow with no head, banana clove aroma, full bodied, but too fizzy. Ends sweet and with a lot of flavor.

Aug 8, 2005 Hazy yellow color with a thin creamy white head. Aroma of bananas and lemon. Flavor of bananas, lemon and bubblegum. Light to medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Aug 16, 2003 A very nice Hefe. I have put this one in the Am. Wheat style, but it could well possibly fall into the German side. Much better clove character than other Am. Wheats I have tried at other local brewpubs. The banana is more subtle, but definately there. Nice stuff from a neat little place. I will have to visit the Tap again soon. It's not as well-know perhaps as other brewpubs in this area, but the two beers I had today were notable indeed!

Jan 5, 2004 Updated: Apr 24, 2004Golden in color,slight haze ,small white lacing around the rim. Nice banana aroma,fruity and sweet.Flavor brings out more banana subtle clove and spicy hops. It's reminiscint of banana breadm,sweet and fruity. Finishes dry and slightly bitter.

Mar 13, 2004 On tap. Cloudy golden yellow with medium white head. Taste is a typical hefe with some banana and spice, but it's a bit too bland. Not bad, but nothing special either.

Mar 28, 2005 Broad-shouldered cloves and nutmeg dance drunkenly atop an opaque, unfiltered curtain...Brash yeasty bitterness whirls amidst a somewhat stale mouthfeel, as a neat bubblegum burp pops up...All over the place, very flavorful, but maybe not cohesive enough to attract me into getting another...

Mar 2, 2004 Hazy golden. Big banana nose. Small dissipating head. This one is all clovey, banana, fruity, yogurt, a bit thin, finishing crisp and refreshing. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
