Commercial Description:
A true light colored hybrid ale/lager. Ferments warm for a fruity nose, and lagers cool for a crisp, dry finish. A great intro beer! 12 degrees Plato, 18 IBU.

Cloudy pale yellow color, with a white head. Sweet caramel smell. Sweet taste with some butterscotch in it. Tastes like a Wearther’s original kind of. Some malts in there thrown in. Medium to light body. However, this beer comes in a great box.

Cask (gravity) @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.
Unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat or yeast, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (070808)

Cask at GBBF08. Weak fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Mild flavour fruit and hay, hint of dust. Medium bitterness. Like many British cask ales, but with a good mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy of mreusch; thanks, Matt. Pours a hazy gold with a huge, fluffy, white head, prolific rising carbonation and sticky lace. The nose is a nice fruity and floral bouquet with a touch of candy sugar sweetness thrown into the mix. Light-bodied and thin with a dry and grainy finish. It’s a bit rough for a beer so thin. The flavor is of sweet and slightly sour citrus, bitter peach pit and a moderately grainy finish. While this brew is better than other cream ales that I’ve sampled, I do wish that the flavor was as nice as the nose.

A Mes rate: gravicask at GBBF.
A dirty and hazy yellow brown with a thin white head. Salty fruit with a slight tarty note in the aroma. Inoffensive flavour, it’s just really bland . Very fruity with a slight bitterness pretty much sums it all up. Still, it’s better than the last cream ale I had.

Cask@GBBF2008. Hazy yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is apricot, apple, mild wooden notes. Flavour is apricot, sourness and some mild notes of citrus and wood. Mild earthyness too.

Cask at GBBF 08. Hazy pale gold. Thin white head. That’s weird. A bit sherberty. Malts are a bit mixed. Not my favourite. Building lemon hop on finish. Bit of lemon curd flavour on the swallow.
