Commercial Description:
6.2 % alcohol, 21 IBU This Wallonian-style brown ale was made with a special yeast strain from a Belgian Abbey beer producer. Look for a garnet-brown color, “fluffy” body and bicarbonate water profile. Low bitterness and alcohol, along with a faint peppery character make this one infinitely drinkable.

Pours a deep brown/mahogany, with a medium tan head, a small bit of which lasts, leaving sticky sheets of lace. Aroma is sweetish, caramel, and a bit of spice. Falvor starts with some sweetness, caramel and toffee, and ends with a slight bitterness and a good peppery spice. Medium-full bodied, with multiple layers of flavors that really shine as the brew approaches room temp.

First brew at Ommegang. Clear brown in color with a tan head. Very sweet. Malty flavor. Ok beer.

First brew at the Cooperstown brew fest. Clear brown, tan head. Sweet sugar and bubblegum aroma. Flavor is malt, alcohol and a little bubblegum. Just didn’t do it for me.

A good brown ale. Pours well, brown with a small head. Taste is very sweet with nuts and malt. Another great brew from The Tap.

Creamy, looks great in the glass, rounded and full with nuts and dates much like St Bernardus, aroma broadens at high 50s, a surprising finish laced with anise. A delicious brew -- thanks to the Bros.
