Pours deep golden with a large off-white head, which lasts and leaves sheets of lacing. Body has lot’s of tiny bubbled lazy carbonation in it. Aroma fills the room with big citric hoppiness, some floral and pine in there as well, with a bit of toasted bread in there to keep the hop aromas in check. Flavor starts with a hint of grainy maltiness, then the middle and end are all about the hops - citrus flavors abounds, and the bitterness is huge, but never overbearing. Medium in body, the flavors last forever in the mouth, and the hop burps from this brew last for days. Incredibl drinkable for a beer that is this bitter, I could drink this all day and night (in fact, I have) and not get tired of it. IMO, deserving of a perfect score.

Dec 10, 2009 A: Cloudy murky orangish color with a large bubbly head at first. The head dies down to a thin ring with an island in the middle. It appears to be a somewhat sticky brew as I circle the glass, and this is confirmed by the lacing left behind.
S: Many have described it as earthy and I have to agree. There is a natural quality to this brew. I smell some metallic iron and dirt in the background but grapefruit and pine reign supreme.
T: Lovely IPA that is unique in its own right. I am immediately hit with bitter grapefruit peel and pine. As the bitterness dies down a nice ruby red grapefruit sweetness overcomes you. It finishes dry and goes down soo smooth. What a nice beer!
M: Medium bodied with a dry finish. Crisp and clean.

Nov 21, 2009 @ a tasting, Thanks David, pours pale orange with a nice white head, aroma of grapefruit, marmalade and orange, dry and bitter with flavors of grapefruit, lemon and floral notes, aftertaste has some spices like coriander, medium bodied. OK

Nov 21, 2009 At a tasting, thanks David, small but stable and long lasting head with a little lacing, lightish orange colour, aromas of peach and grapefruit, flavours of home detergent and some fruit and an overpowering bitterness. Bitter and bland.

Nov 5, 2009 Pours a crystal clear yellow-orange. Minimal head that recedes quickly. Heavy sediment near the bottom. I don’t know, I think IPAs should be darker and cloudy. Aroma of hops and sweet malts. Citrusy and floral. Very bitter right off the bat. Oily flavor that dominates the beer. Grapefruit. Way overpowers the malt. Nothing but a hop bomb. I’m OK with hop bombs, but I need balance. Nothing more then sucking on hops.

Nov 2, 2009 Has a deep golden color. Aroma is mainly hops, floral, and citrus. Taste is full of floral hops and a little citrus in the back end. Has a nice bitter aftertaste.
