Commercial Description:
21.3 degrees plato, 8.6% alcohol, 21 IBU This Belgian-inspired "Abbey Trippel" is the type of beer everyone can love. Gold in color and smacking of sweet malt and hints of spice, it tastes like the real thing.

Pours a deep reddish orange, with a medium size creamy white head, laces in sticky bunches. Aroma starts fairly light, but increases as it warms - sweet, a bit spicey, some apple and banana. Flavor starts quite sweet and sugary, a bit fruitier in the middle, and ends with a surprising amount of hop bitterness (more than I expected it to have). Full bodied, definately much better as it approaches room temperature. Very drinkable for 8.6%.

Deep golden with a small white head of foam. The nose is fruity, malty and with a small dose of alcohol. It tasted sweet, fruity with a hint of peppery spice and a nice malt backbone.
