Commercial Description:
Cloudy because of the raw wheat used and yeast in suspension. This beer is light, refreshing, and a little bit tart, spiced with coriander, curacao, orange peel, and a top secret brewing spice. This is our rendition of a Belgian witte perfect on a hot summer day or with a bowl of mussels. 20 IBUs

This offering from The Tap was my favorite of the night I visited. It pours a foggy dark lemon that leaves a sticky white head. The aroma is lemon, wheat, honey, with some spicy hops. The taste starts malty and sweet, the mouthfeel is creamy and delicious. The sweet lemon spiciness of coriander, orange zest, is so nice. This wit is thenbalanced with a nice hop kick that falls back on that wheat bready twang. This is a great wit one that I’m glad I had the pleasure of tasting.

Had at Milly’s Tavern. Beer is not out yet, but Mike gave a group of us a sample of it today.. Big foamy head on top of a cloudy yellow color. BIG LEMON taste. Mike also said he put some cumin in there to give it an interesting taste. The mouthfeel is slightly fizzy at first, but quickly smooths out. Very nice-a!

Hazy/cloudy yellow, with little head but good lacing. Aroma is dominated by heavy banana and lemon. Thick body with moderate acidity. a very nice example of the style.

Bottled. Pours a very cloudy bronze yellow with a mildly lacing, soapy looking head. As soon as I started drinking this I had to look it up, I could swear there it is brewed with tea, but apparently it is not. The aroma is distinctly green tea, although with a fair bit of spicing and yeast thrown in there. It is great. It is deep and complex and very different, I’d love to know if it was just sheer dumb luck that got that tea note in there or what. A little bit of tea is the in the flavor as well, but not nearly as much, and it is a bit thin and too lively in the carbonation; slightly minerally, with a bit of sweetness. Flavor needs to dry out a bit and be a touch grainier. Still, an excellent wit, one of the best I’ve had.

Gigantic frothy and foamy white head elevates over the pale golde hue. Heavy spice nose, focusing on coriander, but having this overall malt-yeast spice balance that few achieve. Dry and tart palate, it’s been a while since I’ve met a wit with such fresh flavors. Lively fruits and fresh spices meet the soft maltiness with the head high. Biting peppery yeast add a new level. heavy carbonation, light, pretty thin body makes for the only weakness. Exceptional wit!

Growler from dirtymike: Murky yellow with a thick chunky white head, lemon spices (cumin) and orange in the aroma, medium bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel, starts and ends very lightly bitter. A great Witbier.

Draft at the Tap - Hazed gold, creamy white head. Soft vanilla pefume nose with underlying notes of corriander, orange zest and hints of yeast. Nice orangey spice flavors up front that turns lightly tart midway through. Room temp brings out a very smooth breadiness that rounds this out well. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, spiced, citric finish. A pleasant suprise here as I thought this was top notch. Next time a 6 pack will hit the road (air) with me...

(Draught) Sampled at the Belgium Comes To Cooperstown 2005 in Cooperstown, NY. Non-dissipating, white head with a cloudy, lemon-coloured body. Nose of a wit with OUMPH! Thin, citrus with vanilla tones. I like.
