donfardz64 (114), Wellington, New Zealand Sep 13, 2008 Pours slightly cloudy orange/amber. White head fully diminishing. Hoppy aroma, slight malt. Intense hop flavours which fade allowing some malt to come in. I thought this was a pilsener when I tried it, very nice! kempicus (192), Wellington, New Zealand Apr 21, 2008 Updated: Apr 25, 2008Lovely fruity aroma again, the old sparkler really does kick it to the fore, nice body with caramel overtones that finishes with a nice hop kick Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 26, 2008 (On tap) Slightly hazy, amber golden with a small, off-white head. A somewhat fat aroma of malt and caramel - perhaps even some alcohol accents. Medium-bodied with light notes of nuts before a fairly dry and hoppy but also a little watery finish. Not really equalling the other Tvisted Hops. 32 IBU. 240108 Stew41 (883), Caulfield, Australia Oct 28, 2007 Another very solild handpumped effort from Twisted Hop. Soft, creamy, excellent drive from the fruity hops right through the palate. Nose shows a good combination of fruit and green nettles; plenty of character here. Bitter finish with a mild licorice note; thickens progressively. The weight from the 5% ABV, relative to most English examples, is obvious. greig (69), Hamilton, New Zealand Aug 17, 2007 On cask at the pub. A delicious fruity aroma with citrus notes entices one to sup deeply, so I did. Boy was I glad. An excellent well balanced beer, bursting with fruity/juicy malt and a nice resinous hop character. The finish is long and dry, and demanded more. Went extremely well with the ploughman’s lunch I ordered.
