Cask, Caldy GC. Darkish brown colour with a medium creamy white head. Middling aroma with some malt evident. Standard traditional english bitter fayre really, which was just about drinkable but pretty bland on the whole.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Little bit disappointing. Some toffee in the flavour. No real hop, vague presence on the tingle in the tongue. I preferred the straight bitter.

Gravicask, one-third pint from the Brewery Bar, GBBF 09. Crystal clear amber body. Malty-fruity smell. Semi-sweet, earthy malts in flavour combined with resinous hops. Dry bitter aftertaste. Classic English bitter (Earls Court, 07.08.2009).

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hints of toffee. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel and toffee finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Cask (gravity) @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester, England.
Clear medium amber color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090123]

A Mes rate. Gravicask at the National Winter Ales festival. Dirty golden brown with a slight bubbly collar. Bland aroma with some slight foot sweat. Dull as hell in the mouth. Apples and faint boring caramel malty notes. Bored to tears...

Cask@Eyre Arms, Hassop, Derbyshire. Brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildly toffee and hopped, and the flavour is plainly hopped and mildly bitter. Overall an average bitter.

Very nice, too bitter and perhaps dry but well rewed. Creamy feeling. I had it at GBBF 2008.
