Cask (gravity) @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester, England.
Clear medium amber color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090123]

Cask. Chestnut colour, white head. Thin body. OK bitterness, slightly astringent. Very one-dimensional. 4 3 5 2 10

Cask at GBBF08. Almost clear copper colour, small white head. Good fruity flavour, actually a bit spicy. 6 3 6 3 14

Cask at GBBF 2009. Little bit disappointing. Some toffee in the flavour. No real hop, vague presence on the tingle in the tongue. I preferred the straight bitter.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at the National Winter Ales festival. Dirty golden brown with a slight bubbly collar. Bland aroma with some slight foot sweat. Dull as hell in the mouth. Apples and faint boring caramel malty notes. Bored to tears...

This wasnt in the best condition i dont think. Aroma was minimal but dominated but malt. Taste is more balanced a bit thin but still an alright ale.

Cask Conditioned at The New Inn, Appletreewick, Yorks. Amber coloured with thick Yorkshire head, looks good. Little aroma initially, but later has a spicey pepper note, thin malted, dry fairly standard bitter.
