| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 23, 2002 Light, very ironish tasting; limited character otherwise. Interestingly, I had this in a bottle, which doesn’t seem like much of a cask to me. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Nov 20, 2004 Cask, or is it keg? Soapy brown appearance with nitro head. Death by freezing beer, sharp harsh and confused. The hops can herdly get going. Is this really Theakston or the work of the Ampersand group? chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 10, 2004 I really don’t see the point of this. Take a cask ale and serve it chilled to within an inch of its life (it certainly seemed colder than the 10C claimed) and through a sparkler so tight that it comes over almost identical to the nitrokeg that it is presumably aimed at weaning fizzheads off. Why bother? It’s methadone for keg junkies. Not blatantly offensive though. It would probably be marginally better without the sparkler. "Cask" (handpump), The Bull and Chain, Lincoln
