Commercial Description:
Cask; Occasional.
First brewed in June 1999 to commemorate the trussing-in of Jonathan Manby.
"An amber-red bitter in the classic India Pale Ale (IPA) style, full-bodied and robust in flavor. It is late-and dry-hopped with Golding hops. Initial sweetness, which gives way to complex fruitiness followed by a bitter finish."

Cask, Criterion, St Andrews. Copper colour, very slightly hazy, thin off-white head. Nose is hoppy, some grass and lemon, slight sweetness. Mouth is fruity, watery, sweet. Quite fresh and light. Malt and hop bitterness, balanced, palates out to a smooth, sweet, slightly liquorice end. Too watery flavour, very good apart from that.

Casl conditioned @ Humble Plumb. Malty with noticeable yeast on the nose and slightly fruity. Dusty hop has faint presence initially but does develop slightly but finishes slightly short. Full creamy mouthfeel isnt helped IMO by the caramel flavours. Ends with a not quite fresh feel to due to heavy flat malts.

Cask Conditioned, GBBF 2005: Malty aroma, no head. Deep red coloured. Quite fruity beer with some peach notes. Bitter finish.
