Mar 16, 2007 Aroma is floural with lemon off the hops, some rich malts come through afterwards. Taste is similar a good sweet base balanced by the dry hoppy finish, nice little beer here.

Feb 21, 2007 Cask, Criterion, St Andrews. Copper colour, very slightly hazy, thin off-white head. Nose is hoppy, some grass and lemon, slight sweetness. Mouth is fruity, watery, sweet. Quite fresh and light. Malt and hop bitterness, balanced, palates out to a smooth, sweet, slightly liquorice end. Too watery flavour, very good apart from that.

May 5, 2009 Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes, in ’Spoons Real Ale Festival, April-May ’09. Copper with a small white head. Painty malt aroma, not the best, but the taste was good enough: grainy malt with a hint of almond and a mid bitter finish.
