A light but enjoyable malt aroma. A very light palate, nearly watery, but there is a smokiness to the malty flavour. oh6gdx (9081), Vasa, Finland

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 1, 2009 Cask at Penderels Oak. Looks great, clear and dark amber-black with a fine pale beige head. Little bit of malt on the nose, just a hint of chocolate too. Palate is roasty, a little sourness in the body and finish, quite light bodied for a dark beer. It gets tastier as you go on.
