Fantastic aromas of malt and citrus. Didn’t get any "banana notes" from it though. A malty, somewhat sweet taste with a light bitter but very fruity finish. Light carbonation. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2006 One of the better beers we sampled at a beer tasting at The Fresh Market. IT went really well with the mushrooms wrapped in philo dough. It poured a dark rich brown and had a little sweetness with a nice dry finish. I will be trying this again soon. theshocker (329), Marietta, Georgia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Poured a very deep blackish amber color, hardly any head and what was there dissapeared on me. Smells quite malty to me. The taste is overly sweet yet has a clean finish which is a plus in my book. Its ok, but I think it is rated quite high for what it is.
