Commercial Description:
Cask;
First brewed in the Summer of 2004 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of CAMRA and named after ’Paradise Field’, a piece of land on the outskirts of Masham, which contained a small orchard. The field, purchased by my great-great grandfather, Robert Theakston, was where he built the current Theakston Brewery in 1870. A full-bodied ale, using pale ale malt and an exotic blend of old and new world full hop flowers, including Cascade to give a light, lusciously fruity flavoured taste. Brewed using the finest quality natural ingredients and over 180 years of brewing wisdom.

Cask at The Pilgrim’s Progress (JDW), Bedford. Golden with a lasting white head. Very little else to report: some bitterness at end, slight sweet aroma. The rest is silence...

Handpump @ JDW Galashiels, part of the October/Halloween Beer Festival. A good looking beer mid amber in colour and a thickish white head leaving a good lace as the glass empties.The nose and palate are dominated by a hoppy fruitiness which is quite satisfying. A sweet maltiness shows itself after a few seconds and adds another layer to this delicious beer...I enjoyed it!

Cask. Golden colour, white, creamy, semi-stable head. Aroma is fresh and slightly acidic. Flavour is also refreshing and acidic, but a little too sweet for my liking in this type of beer. Dry bitterness in aftertaste.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is very fruity and flowery. The flavor is flowery with hints of caramel and a quite dry hoppy finish. The body is light.
