Cask at Baker Street ’Spoons. Boring mid borwn colour. Subtle aroma of hazelnut and apple. More apple in the flavour leading me to think this may not be in the best condition. Quite sweet and malty with some tobacco and an uneventful finish. Rather boring.

May 5, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange-brown beer with a thick dense yellow head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of berries. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of honey, leading to a dry end with notes of berries. A bit boring.

Apr 30, 2007 [CASK: The Salisbury Ale House, Manchester 24/06/06] A fine tasting ale and an improvement compared against Theakstons Best. The stronger % makes me enjoy this ale. Not a bad flavour and not an unpleasent taste.

Apr 15, 2007 No head, dark brown body, quite dry and full of hops. Little touch of fruit tang, dry finish. Enjoyable pint.

Dec 9, 2006 Cask@The Lamb Inn, Grasmere. Reddish beer with a light head. The aroma is dry and fruity and the flavour is berry fruity, vinous and dry. Overall a nice fruity dry beer.

Sep 12, 2006 Cask, The Criterion, St Andrews. Coppery-red colour, hazy, thin creamy head. Hoppy, malty and yeasty in good quantities. Easy drinking, quite sweet in the mouth with hops and lots of winter fruits. Long malty dry finish. Rather nice, rather unexpectedly nice.
