Commercial Description:
It is a typical Victorian Pale Ale with an auburn-yellow colour and a persistent froth. Full-bodied distinguished by the fruity scent of its superior fermented yeast. As tradition has it the Theresianer Pale Ale is well balanced and ideal with fresh and persistent flavours.

Bottled. Golden with a small, white head. Light and fruity aroma with some toffee. Sweet and malty flavour with a rather lively palate. Fruity.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a small and yellow-coloured, non-persistent frothy head. Moderately sweet and slightly acidic malty nose light notes of citrus and an ethereal herbal touch. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Straw-malty, slightly grainy and subtle fruity taste; sweet and faint bitter finish with a present but also warming alcoholic touch. Drinkable but nothing special.

nice golden color, not very pleasant bitterness in the palate, somewhere between an ale and lager

bottle, bought in Switzerland. Bright golden colour, clear, quite large head, which was not very persistent. Malty and slightly sweet with a touch of fruit. Very hoppy and bitter in the finish and aftertaste, which is quite pleasant. A bit too much alcohol in the flavour though.

Mah, questa mi ha lasciato un poco perplesso, soprattutto dopo aver assaggiato la piacevolissima Vienna della stessa linea. Molto anonima nel suo genere, manca decisamente di carattere; va giù bene ma non lascia un gran ricordo.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a fully golden beer with a medium, rather quick diminishing white head. The aromas are flowery, biscuitty, sweet, hoppy. Some gluey, sugary elements. The nose reminds me somewhat of molasses. A hint of hay. The taste is of caramel, rather sweet, soapy. Some fruits (lemon, a hint of peaches). A little citrussy. A trace of peanuts? There is a lack of good hop character in this beer. Rather low bitterness. Some caramel comes through just before the finish. Some peanuts in the aftertaste. Interesting, but far from beeing enjoyable.

(33 cl bottle shared with ekstedt at "Tre små rum", Göteborg) Shady pale golden color, small white head. Cheeze and sweet Belgian ale yeast scent. Spicy yeasty taste, sweet and a bit hoppy. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle. Hazy golden, small white head. Fruity, malty aroma, some vague floral hops. Medium bodied, quite smooth. Good balance, with a moderate bitterness.
