Thanks to Valerie and family for bringing these beers over from Italy. Light gold with lemon tinges and a slightly hazy body; looks appealing. Interesting nose, I’m finding it tough to pick much, not that this is a negative. Perhaps more German in aroma that Czech with light soft citrus and malt notes. Very varietal to taste with sharp hop features and a crisp palate. Medium weight malts fill the flavours out nicely. Beer shows a lot of balance and is clearly well made.

Not bad. It has the good looks but, just like most Italian beers, it is afraid to be too bitter. The hops are too much balanced by malt. The result is a kind of grass-in-honey aftertaste.

I couldn't get a really good head. Apart from that, aroma and taste are hoppy enough for me. Not really bitter, but very dry. Medium body and lasting aftertaste. I liked it.

(Draught at Delirium Café, Gothenburg, 31 July 2007) Golden yellow colour with greenish tinges, white head. Malty nose with grassy hop aromas, hay, timothy-grass and a hint of basil. Malty, bready taste with white bread, hay and notes of grassy hops in the finish. Fairly dry, but with some malt sweetness. A decent continental lager.

Blond color. Clean honey aroma (millefiori). Honey character, quite dry. Ordinary palate.
