Commercial Description:
This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

Creme branco pouco denso e consistente. Leve presença de lúpulo e malte-caramelo. Apesar de fraquinha, dá pra tomar várias.

A beer that I really appreciated. Good tasting, very balanced, creamy head, medium bodied, amber in colour, very thirst-quenching. Label design is fantastic.

Bottle, in Cinque Terre, Italy, in october 2006. It´s a very nice beer, drinkable. Novamente tomada em Grindelwald (SUI), em novembro de 2007. Coloração âmbar, com creme branco fraco. Presença de malte caramelo e um leve amargor. Boa cerveja, suave e drinkable.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, amber colour with a beautiful, slowly lacing, light-beige foamy head. Sweet and nutty toast-malty aroma with caramel and shy hoppy notes in the background. Sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Aromatic toasty and nutty malt-character with notes of toffee lingering into the sweet and moderately bitter finish. Pleasant.

Beautfully-labelled bottle, bought in Switzerland. Amber colour, medium-szed bubbly head. Fruity, caramelly and slightly hoppy flavours. Hints of roasted malt, very slightly smoky. Malty finish.
