Commercial Description:
This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a nice light amber coloured beer with a rather quick diminishing white head. Dominating aromas of caramel, some nice hops, bread and hay-like elements. Lots of caramel in the taste which is rather sweet and malty. This beer has a good mouthfeel. Sweet malty finish. There’ s nothing really interesting about this vienna, it’s just a decent brew. A bit boring. RERATE. (additional comments): Very pleasant. Hints of peanuts. Wonderful candy-like components.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber, fine stable head. Very aromatic from the hops, quite sweet without much carbonation. Sweetish with a good body. Almost candy... 020404

A beer that I really appreciated. Good tasting, very balanced, creamy head, medium bodied, amber in colour, very thirst-quenching. Label design is fantastic.

Low head, minimun lacing and not lasting. Yellow. Nice aroma of something like hay/grain. Balanced bitterness and sweetness.

Bottle, DBF 2004. Amber red, thin white head and gentle condition. Good caramel, crystal malt and faint melanoidin in the aroma. Sweet toasted crystal malt, toffee and lightly burnt toast in the mouth and lingering sweet toffee notes in the finish.

The beer is very malty and sweet. Pretty mild and easy drinkable. A nice dessert brew.
