Commercial Description:
A beautiful golden-hued brew in the pale ale style. The lightest of our beers, it includes a nice hop flavor and all pale malts.

Hazy gold pour with a foamy, clinging head. The aroma is light but pleasant. Malty sweetness and a touch of citrus and herbal hops. Smooth and easy to drink with some good carbonation. The flavor starts mildly sweet with some caramel notes. The sweetness is quickly replaced by mild bitterness. Herbal and piney hops. This is a pretty good brew.

Pours in a very light golden color with very light head that doesn’t hang out long, pours like cheap beer. Aroma deters what the taste has to offer. Great flavor, nice clean refreshing hops, very palatable for hot or cold days. Almost feels hydrating. In my book this pale is just below par from the above par brewery Bells.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small, white head. The aroma was light pale maltiness with hints of sweet grainy malts combined with floral, herbal, spicy hop character. The flavor is pale malts with a crisp graininess and moderate amount of light sweetness. The herbaceous hop notes with a light bitterness to provide ample balance. Finishes dry and lightly bitter with a slight yeast presence. Medium-bodied. Carbonation is fairly lively. What is there is decent, I just want a bit more of everything.

On the pour I thought I had a snow globe in my pint. Lots of floaties here. Very faint aroma of yeast, not much else. The flavour is very different than Bell’s signature of intense flavours. Grassy, herbal, slight malt sweetness, and some citrus. The hazy goldenrod colour is a curious plus. Not a bad brew, great for a hot summer day.

Bottle. Wow, kind of sad about this one. I have loved every bells beer....until now. Pour is clear golden color with a few floaties. Aroma is stale bar floor, yeasty bread-like sourness, and a malty backbone. Flavor is, sadly, true to nose. It really tastes stale and bready. There is some maltiness but the hops are almost no where to be found. Hopefully this was an off bottle, Ill have to try again.

Bottle at Havana Martini Club in Cincinnati. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. This one may have been skunked. Big skunky nose with pale malts, grains, and hops. The flavor followed suit- really generic and hard to classify, weak for an APA. Some yeast, spices and sweetness, and a skunky, bitter finish. Medium bodied, with active carbonation. Felt like it could have come in a bottle that said BEER as it aggressively delivered the main ingredients but had no character. Didn’t like this one.

$10 for a six pack in Cleveland, OH. Pours a fizzy light yellow with decent head and lacing. Taste closer to a pale lager than a pale ale, with a light hoppiness. Definitely a great session beer, I could slam these all day, but a bit expensive.

This beer pours a dark yellow almost gold colro with a big white head. Aroma is floral, hoppy, what, and grass. Bitter flavor with hops and fruit towards the end. A pretty good beer.
