| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Bottle. Wow, kind of sad about this one. I have loved every bells beer....until now. Pour is clear golden color with a few floaties. Aroma is stale bar floor, yeasty bread-like sourness, and a malty backbone. Flavor is, sadly, true to nose. It really tastes stale and bready. There is some maltiness but the hops are almost no where to be found. Hopefully this was an off bottle, Ill have to try again. phaleslu (535), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Bottle at Havana Martini Club in Cincinnati. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. This one may have been skunked. Big skunky nose with pale malts, grains, and hops. The flavor followed suit- really generic and hard to classify, weak for an APA. Some yeast, spices and sweetness, and a skunky, bitter finish. Medium bodied, with active carbonation. Felt like it could have come in a bottle that said BEER as it aggressively delivered the main ingredients but had no character. Didn’t like this one. tastybeer (96), Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 2, 2009 $10 for a six pack in Cleveland, OH. Pours a fizzy light yellow with decent head and lacing. Taste closer to a pale lager than a pale ale, with a light hoppiness. Definitely a great session beer, I could slam these all day, but a bit expensive. iabeerguy (172), Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 1, 2009 This beer pours a dark yellow almost gold colro with a big white head. Aroma is floral, hoppy, what, and grass. Bitter flavor with hops and fruit towards the end. A pretty good beer. iamqueensblvd (207), , Iowa, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Hazy gold pour with a foamy, clinging head. The aroma is light but pleasant. Malty sweetness and a touch of citrus and herbal hops. Smooth and easy to drink with some good carbonation. The flavor starts mildly sweet with some caramel notes. The sweetness is quickly replaced by mild bitterness. Herbal and piney hops. This is a pretty good brew. ChainGangGuy (2580), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, gold body capped by a small, white head, though, truth be told, the pour was initiated by the plucky bartender Carlos. Continued streams of lively effervescence.
Smell: Light pale maltiness with some sweetish and grainy hints alongside a floral, herbal, spicy hop character.
Taste: Light pale malts with a crisp overall graininess and reasonable amount of light sweetness. Spicy, herbaceous hop character with a light bitterness to provide ample balance. Though, some rebounding flecks of sweetness continue to surface amidst the bitterness. Touch of yeastiness. Finishes dry and lightly bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: Even with its lively effervescence, it displays a substantial body that a lager of comparable composition never could. All in all, a pleasant, easily drinkable light ale, though the closest I’ve been to the Third Coast, is a trip up or two to up to Three Floyds for Dark Lord Day. hamrech (34), Carbondale, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2009 The most thirst-quenching beer I’ve ever had. I woke up today with a mild hangover and dry foul mouth and my first thought was not to grab a glass of water, but rather to tear into a third coast. It’s very simple, light, and delicious. Looked like a normal shitty beer until I noticed the wild sediment in the bottle, which is major bonus points. There’s nothing groundbreaking about this brew, but it is damn near the most sessionable beer I’ve ever had. I would love to kick back with two 6 packs straight thru on a hot summer afternoon.
