Aroma is of sweet carmel and dark candi sugars, touch of hops noted as well. Taste is very sweet of carmel, molassas and spice. Sticky as can be and absolutely wonderful flavor. The sweetness is then balanced out by a slight hop bittering for a clean finish. Mouthfeel is silky and notable as this brew is very pleasing to drink. I will say that this has been a pleasure of a drinking experience and I can’t wait to hide my other bottle for a year or so and see how she does. JJClark (545), Roscoe, Illinois, USA

Pours a murky reddish amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, and fermented fruit. Has a bit of a sweet flavor intially amd then gives way to a smooth hop taste. The alcohol was nicely balanced with the hoppy, every so slight bitter finish making it a very enjoyable beer to drink. kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA

Im fairly convinced that Bells could make a chipotle infused pale lager and it would be good. This is a fine barley wine. The aroma is so malty, with lots of caramel and brown sugar in the nose. Flavor is delicious, although it’s a tad hot right now. This will age to be a tremendous beer. michael-pollack (2688), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
