Third Street Aleworks American Wheat

A blonde ale with a thin white head. A very faint grainy aroma. In mouth, a light malty and grainy wheat, mineral water, completely boring. Light bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Sampled at the brewpub. Translucent yellow gold with zero head. Plenty of perfume in the nose, also floral. Flavor is sweet candy, citrus peel. Sweetish finish. Not a typical wheat. I wrote "whimsical".

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light wheaty and slight estery fruity. Bitter and fruity flavoured. Dry and subdued wheaty. Bitter and light hoppy dry finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale yellow. Not much aroma. Taste is smooth wheat malt with little hop bitterness.

Draft at the brewpub. Lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. Nose od light peppery spices, wheaty grain, and a bit of grassiness. Flavor was grainy with a slight apricot note.

I had this on tap at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Not much going on here as far as flavor or anything else. not bad, but not good

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish fruity wheat malty flavor. Has a slightly sweetish wheat malty fruity finish with some hints of citrus in the aftertaste.
