Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: Fairly run of the mill. Nicely hopped, so-so finishing

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty slighlty earthy hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty earthy and slighty floral hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Am amber ale with a very thin white head. A light cramel malt aroma. In mouth, light crisp malt with very German hops, biscuitty, light and inoffensive. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Cask at the brewpub. Aroma of caramel malt and light floral hop. Amber color with a minimal white head. Medium body; light carbonation. Flavor is caramel malt with balancing floral. Seemed a good APA. I tend to really like English hops, so that may be why I rated this "high".

Cask pint at the brewpub. Bronze-red with a nice ’casky’ creamy head. Smooth, casually hopped beer, bit of woodsiness, well balanced. Very, very easy to drink -- light earthiness, mellow bitterness. An American interpretation of a good British pub ale. (#3401, 4/10/2008)
