Cask pint at the brewpub. Bronze-red with a nice ’casky’ creamy head. Smooth, casually hopped beer, bit of woodsiness, well balanced. Very, very easy to drink -- light earthiness, mellow bitterness. An American interpretation of a good British pub ale. (#3401, 4/10/2008)

I had this on tap at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Nicely balanced between citric/piney hops and malt, this is a tasty APA

Tap. Yellow orange with a hazy color. Lots of hops and a good long smooth aftertaste. I also tried the cask version which was too watery and weak without the hops that otherwise made it interesting.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark gold pour. Floral citrus aroma. Light crisp malt with a slight floral hop bitterness.

Clear golden amber with no head. Malty grainy aroma. Sweet caramel taste with toffee notes to the finish.

Cask at the brewpub. Aroma of caramel malt and light floral hop. Amber color with a minimal white head. Medium body; light carbonation. Flavor is caramel malt with balancing floral. Seemed a good APA. I tend to really like English hops, so that may be why I rated this "high".

Light malt nose, amber color, frothy head. Creamy, sugary malt body with a hint of nuts. Lingering bitter. Very carbonated. Decent.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty slighlty earthy hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty earthy and slighty floral hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.
