In mouth, a nice oily malt with floral c-hops, a bit of bile bitterness. A nice honest IPA. Medium bodied. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 16, 2009 Sampled at the brewpub. Transparent amber/gold. Spicy, fruity nose. Strong flavor, bitter, soapy. The finish is kind of nondescript but oddly, I enjoy this. Seems to be a big seller too. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Poured from the tap to a light reddish-orange with a thin white head that lingered thru mid glass and left decent lacing. Nose was a nice crisp citrusy grapefruit, mouthfeel was full and tingly and the flavor even accentuated the grapefruit more than the nose. This all led to a full long finish.
A pleasant surprise from this out of the way place. IrishBoy (2719), Bakersfield, California, USA
