Lubiere (4464), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 30, 2009 A golden amber IPA with a thin white head. A nice caramel malt with light floral hops. In mouth, a nice oily malt with floral c-hops, a bit of bile bitterness. A nice honest IPA. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009. nimbleprop (819), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA Aug 16, 2009 Sampled at the brewpub. Transparent amber/gold. Spicy, fruity nose. Strong flavor, bitter, soapy. The finish is kind of nondescript but oddly, I enjoy this. Seems to be a big seller too. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 10, 2009 On tap. Slightly hazy amber golden with a small off-white head. Lightly piney nose. Medium body, a little caramel and a dry and somewhat raw finish. 110709 yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 25, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 14, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Dark gold pour. Big citrus pine aroma. Taste is nice and crisp malt with a pronounced hop bitterness. Tasty brew. kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA Apr 14, 2009 Poured from the tap to a light reddish-orange with a thin white head that lingered thru mid glass and left decent lacing. Nose was a nice crisp citrusy grapefruit, mouthfeel was full and tingly and the flavor even accentuated the grapefruit more than the nose. This all led to a full long finish.
A pleasant surprise from this out of the way place. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 6, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Nose is what I call ivy and light caramel. Yellow copper with a small off white head. Flavor is hop bitterness, ivy, and a little caramel.
