Deep roasted malt with a very earthy essence. Fruity and peppery with a great dry, lightly bittered finish. ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA May 6, 2006 16 oz swing-top [2004] poured a hazy dark copper with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of roasted malt, banana and dark fruit. Palate was light bodied and warming. Flavors of dark fruit, peach, a hint of banana and carmel with a warming lingering sweet finish.
