Third Street Aleworks Kalamity Kolsch

Another blonde ale with a very thin white head. Aroma of grains and light hops. In mouth, another faint beer with light malts, epsom salts, german hops. Light bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Sampled at the brewpub. Transparent pale gold with no head. Mild aroma, grass and a little candy. Flavor is fruity and grassy up front and then melds into a classic grass kolsch. Thin, watery finish. More flavor than a standard Kolsch.

On tap. Pours an almost clear yellow with a white head. Discreet malt aroma. Medium body, sweet clean malts and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. 110709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone white head. Aroma is mild fruity and vague cornish malt. Light malty and crisp bitterness in the flavour. Ends medium dry and slight golden malty.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark yellow. Light malt aroma. Crisp light malt taste with a hint of bitterness. Decent.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a malty grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy and bready flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.

(10/28/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Clear golden color. Aroma is quite vegetal. Sweetish flavor with some graininess and some malt. Light-bodied.
