Jan 11, 2009 (10/28/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. 6.3%. Deep amber color. Aroma of malt and some vegetables. Sweetish flavor with malt, toastiness and some vegetal notes. Light to medium body.

Nov 27, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Malty caramel aroma. Dark amber color with an off-white head. Medium body; smooth carbonation. Light roasted caramel malt flavor. Very mild hop for some balance at the finish. Clean and smooth.

Oct 31, 2007 Updated: Apr 25, 2008A fairly deep red-brown with a thin but lasting off-white head. The aroma alone is fairly weak with some faint toast and caramel. The taste is fairly full-bodied, rich toasted malt with a hint of caramel, mostly a bit sweet with some good, mild hop bitterness, and a biscuity finish. The palate is fairly full and almost silky.
