Third Street Aleworks Puddle Jumper Pale Ale

Sampled at the brewpub. Translucent pale amber with a lacing, cloudy white head. Nice spicy aroma, plenty of hops, inviting citrus. Flavor is dry crackers, spicy, white pepper, tropical fruits. Hot, astringent finish. Peppy.

On tap. clear amber golden with an off-white head. Intense peachy aroma. Medium body, heavy carbonation, very dry with a light maltiness and some fruit. Somewhat raw and unrefined bitterness in the finish. 110709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mango and slight grapefruity hoppy. Sweet and fruity flavoured, light peachy and mango fruity hops base. Bitter and mild sweet finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark gold pour. Big grapefruit hop aroma. Taste is grapefruit bitter hops with a nice malt balance. Good pale ale.

(10/28/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. 5.7%. Hazy golden. Aroma full of grapefruit and lemon hints. Sweetish flavor with some malt and a finish with bitter hops and some citrus.

Cask at the brewpub. Amber gold color with a creamy white head. Nice citrus aroma. Medium body with lush carbonation. Flavor is lots of citrus hop over light pale malt. Very tasty.

Better than their standard APA. Richer, maltier, grainier body with a nice lightly toasted body. Small grapefruit and pine notes with a crispness that was enjoyed out on the hot patio.
