Third Street Aleworks Raspberry Rebellion

A burgundy coloured ale with a light pinkish thin head. In aroma, unpleasant cheap chemical raspberry jam. In mouth, a lightly sour raspberry taste over caramel malt. Sourness lingers a bit. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Sampled at the brewhouse. Transparent ruby red with a slight white head. Fizzy. Strong raspberry aroma. Slightly sour but otherwise all raspberry in the flavor. One dimensional.

On tap. Clear reddish with a small pinkish head. Sweet berry aroma. Medium body, heavy carbonation, a little sulphur, sweet but also lightly tart raspberry notes. Ends fruity tart and fresh. 110709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden red with a small white head. Aroma is crisp raspberry fruity. Crisp fruity and liht soda like raspberry. Ends medum sweet and fruity.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy red with little head. Big raspberry aroma. Fruity raspberry malt taste and a little syrupy.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy raddish color with a small pinkish white head. Has a fruity raspberry aroma. Sweetish fruity raspberry flavor. Has a sweetish fruity raspberry finish.

This is an uneven fruit beer. It is deep, reddish pink with a thin light pink head that dissipates to a small ring and no lacing. The aroma is raspberry juice. The taste is at first thin, watery raspberry soda, dry and weak, then a fuller body and a nice finish of toasted grain with tart raspberry highlights. The finish is the real strength, very nice and somewhat complex, but the rest is weak and bland.
