The aroma is sweet with light notes of berries - the aroma is too weak for my liking. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of berries, leading to a dry bitter end. The body is thin. yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Spiced and light citric yeast aroma. Flavour is light orange to berry fruity and mild yeasty, shows a light spice note to a mild citric base. Could be slightly infected, then again - I was warned about a strange yeast used. Ends with a mild fruity yeast lingering finish. Certainly strange but also drinkable. omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

Aroma is hops, yeast and barnyard. Flavour is sour fruits along with some caramellish notes. Gets quite nutty in the aftertaste. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Beautiful orange-amber color, with a high carbonation that produces an extreme perlage, very nice to see indeed, and a persistent head. There is subtle and nice aroma, of malt and leafy hop, maybe some traces of good yeast. It has a medium body, where the malt is not so much present (maybe there has been some overfermentation and the sugars are too much reduced); it has a light residual sweetness, coming in later, and a light but pleasant mix of hop and yeast. Simpler than the Blonde, but pleasant. TBone (6868), Pori, Finland

Amber red, floating fine yeast. Steady cloudy head. Grassy and fruity lemony nose. Crisp, grassy, a bit alcoholic flavor. Some caramel and sugars also can be tracked. Quite "Belgium" ale, not French or a bière de Garde at all. bierkoning (6103), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2005 Pepper and nutmeg in the aroma. Thin, biscuit, nutmeg, even a bit grainy. Some bitterness. The flavor is a bit of a letoff compared to the fine aroma. bu11zeye (5683), Frisco, Texas, USA
