Part of a tasting tray sampler at the brewpub. My server told me that freshly picked hop buds are added by hand during he brewing process, but she was uncertain as to which varieties. This was a deep brasy golden with a fluffy white head. Grainy aroma with subtle fruity hop nuances, but quite restrained. Palate shows similar grainy flavours and restrained fruity hop character and low bitterness. A few more handfuls of hops please!!
