Apr 5, 2007 (On tap) Presented as "Thirsty Bear Organic Golden Vanilla". Clear, fully golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Weird pumpkin aroma. Light-bodied with a vaguely sweet malt base before the vanilla really shines through. The finish is dry without much bitterness. Interesting. 240307

Jul 25, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Vanilla and roasted malt aroma. Distinct vanilla flavoured, towards artificial in flavour and intensity. Roasted malt and vanilla flavoured finish. I don’t like this one.

Feb 15, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. Strong, interesting vanilla aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel, Like a fluid dessert in itself - very fluid custard. Good, but one-dimensional.

Feb 21, 2006 Golden-bronze colour. Light caramel aroma with a hint of vanilla. Basically this beer is a standard amber with a smooth, sweet vanilla character that is well-integrated but not overbearing. Not my mug of beer but well-made nonetheless.
