Sweet aroma of vanilla in the nose and the taste. Decent balance of hop bitterness with the malt sweetness, unique and interesting beer.

Light gold color, vanilla nose. Light bodied Pilsner style ale, brewed with Vanilla beans. Strong flavor of vanilla and only slightly sweet. The vanilla flavor smoothes out the malt and hop balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. A very interesting beer, very well done. The vanilla adds, not detracts, from this beer. I would not want to drink this beer every day, but its very nice.

I was really surprised and impressed with this beer. It really tasted delicious. The vanilla was very fresh and real. Yummy.

Draught at the brewery. Beer is clear, light caramel with a large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting head.<P>The aroma is dominated by an artful vanilla infusion. This beer drips with heavy notes of Tahitian vanilla; flutters with gorgeous undertones of rich orchid-like floral. Only support is a light malty note of toasted grain. Simple in a little black dress sensibility.<P>The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter with an average-length, trace acidic, lightly sweet finish. Big vanilla bean retros.<P>The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is average.

Creamy natural vanilla smell from a rich bright, clear, orange pour with some nice lacing. Taste is refreshing, a definite vanilla, with a nice crisp finish. Lingering subtle vanilla and an organic grainy taste. Good overall and maybe my favorite Thirsty Bear beer.

This beer has a wonderful vanilla aroma. It’s made with vanilla bean. The taste is a very light ale with dominant vanilla. Light, good in the summer.

Tap. Amber, clear, average head. I have to say, the vanilla infusion does some nice thing for the aroma. It had floral and candylike properties that piqued my interest but the vailla comes off a bit too strong in the flavor. I’m no expert brewer, but a bit more malt might do it some good in order to balance out the vanilla dominance. Interesting novelty beer.
