Sampled at the brew house. Has a very hoppy scent to it with dark orange/brown hues, with minimal head. Flavor is not as hoppy as the aroma leads it to be. Very drinkable but not the greatest IPA.

Was told the recipe changed due to the hop shortage. Light bronze with decent head color. Nice hop aroma, perhaps amarillo, as their is a citrus note. Decent hop flavor without any harsh bitterness. Mild malt backbone. A solid, if unmemorable IPA.

Pint at the Thirsty Bear in San Francisco, 19th Feb 2008. Dark amber appearance and leaves a ton of lacing on the glass. Characteristic cascade hop nose and similar taste - fierce hoppiness but a bland flavour.

Oh man. Just remembered. Several years ago in San Francisco, we camped out at the Thirsty Bear every day for lunch. Decent IPA.

From June 2007 tasting notes, sampled at Thirsty Bear. Clear copper with a white head. Pleasant, floral, cascade-like nose. Notes of grapefruit/citrus, light caramel, pine and medium-strength "c-hop" flavor. Medium bodied, on the lighter side with moderate carbonation. A solid drinkin’ IPA.

Sampler at the brewpub. Orange body with a rocky white head. Strong citrus aroma reveals abundant grapefruit in the flavour, along with pine and floral hops. Nice crisp mouthfeel with moderate bitterness.

On tap at TB in SF. Poured a wonderfully deep amber-copper body with an attractive bouncing creamy whitish head and mammoth lacing. Nose of floral hops and sweet malts. Somewhat piny and resinous, not cloying. Full flavored and richly hopped. This is a wonderful IPA.

A very light IPA, not a good example of the style. Very low bitterness, low hop aroma, no maltiness, no head. Did not enjoy.
