Draught at the brewpub. Pours semi-cloudy orange with a large off-white head. Strong citrus hop aroma with some sweet malt. Flavor has a bit more of the sweet malt, with a lot of flavorful citrus hops and a hint of pine. Moderately bitter but very little astringency. Quite good.

Pale orange, voluminous head. Fruity, herbaceous, fairly powerful hops aroma. Sweet but pleasant maltiness (a bit too sweet), fresh, firm hops flavor, light bitterness. Needs more on the bitter side of sweet/bitter balance, but nice hop character here.

Looks and smells great. Light orange, clearish pour. Smell is bright, big, citrusy, floral, fresh, and hoppy. Big hop taste, fruity with a nice better tasting finish. A good IPA although a tad bitter for my liking.

Gold amber color, clingy sticky head. Big body to support the massive hoppiness. Later arriving bitter that attacks the roof of the mouth. Large West Coast IPA that is done well.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fresh aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body with a lightly sweet malt base and then loads of good, fresh, citric hop aroma also leaving a distinct bitterness. A very classical West Coast IPA of good quality. 240307

Nice deep golden-amber coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, strong malt and a good citrus/herbal scent. Medium-bodied; Strong fresher hops up front all packed with a good malt backbone. Aftertaste shows more of the same with a fresh hop bitterness and a malt that leaves you refreshed and not dry. Overall, a good beer altogether, definitely one to try here. I sampled this beer on draught at the brewpub on 28-February-2007.

Had it on tap in san francisco and I enjoyed. I cant remember details, but it was sweeter than usual for the style and bold as well. Not bad
