On tap @ Thirsty Bear poured a clear light copper with a lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, pine, earthiness and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, pine, earthiness and light citrus with a dry lingering bitter finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark gold in color. White head. Average appearance for an IPA. Mild hop aroma. Flavor is outstanding- this is a solid brewpub IPA. Just delicious berries, floral and citrusy hop bitterness. Beautiful lacing.

Bright golden-copper colour. LIght fruity, citrusy hop aroma. Only light bitterness for style but lots of chewy maltiness...light crystal. The finish is a bit spritzy. Flavour is fairly standard but the mouthfeel is substandard...not very rounded.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. Lychee aroma. Sweet up front with solid, rounded malt profile, yet dominated by powerful hoppiness. Resiny very bitter finish. Aggresive.

Lots of hops in this one, almost giving it a bit of a metallic taste. Maybe a little over the top in that respect. Still, a good IPA and certaintly worth having.

On tap at the brewpub. Love the "thirsty bear" logo of this brewery. Orange, thick small white head. Aggressive citrus hops and some malt in aroma. Very bitter and unbalanced taste with nutty brown malt. Lots of flavour, it just doesn’t come together like it should. Becomes harsh the longer it sits. Just ok.

On tap at the brewpub in downtown San Francisco. Pours with a dark orange appearance, frothy white head, decent lacing. The aroma has a pronounced sprucey tint to it and the standard citrusy hoppy flavor. Not tongue numbing bitter, balanced well with some nutty malty notes. Decently creamy mouthfeel is a tad too stingy.
