Commercial Description:
A deep, sable color full of roasted and black malts distinguish this silky smooth dry, Irish style stout. This beer is served with a unique blend of nitrogen and carbon dioxide gases, which gives it a smoother, more flavorful palette and a rich, creamy head without the strong bite of a highly carbonated beer.

A great Irish Dry stout in the Guinness tradition. Roasted malt nose, a bit sweet in the middle, but a good dry bitter finish. Smooth and rich, a must try for stout lovers. Ranks high on my stout master list.

Black color, creamy tan head. Chocolate and coffee aroma. A bid bodied stout. Chocolate malts predominate the taste. Bold flavor with a dry finish. Well balanced. Nice stout. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is smooth and dry. Aftertaste us malty and slightly bitter.

On tap at brewpub, cask conditioned and dry hopped, according to the sign on the cask. Really enjoyed this one as the last of 3 at the brewpub. I don’t really love nitrogen stouts, so I was happy it was on cask and the dry hopping gave it an interestingly hoppy taste for a stout. Very nice.

Enjoyed this beer sitting in the actual Thirsty Bear Brewery on my trip to San Francisco. Excellent, roasty taste and overall experience. This beer pretty much confirmed for me that stout is my favorite style.

Tap. Dark, a little bit mahogany around the edges. Roasty, coffee...it’s almost exactly like the 21st amendment 563 stout that I had last night. Good mouthfeel.

Served on tap in a english pint at the brewpub. Very enjoyable Guinness clone. One to drink over and over. The look is nice and the flavor is very smooth and milky. There’s a bitter blur in the finish. Head stays. If you like Guiness and Murphys you’ll like this.
