Thirsty Bear Legalized Insanity

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear dark orange color. The head was off white and left some lace behind. Smelled of clove and subdued banana. The banana and clove were balanced in the flavor. I also tasted some toasted bread. Medium bodied and slightly sweet with a splash of alcohol.

On tap @ brewpub. Can definitely sense the Belgian influence in this beer. Banana, light clove and other spices, along with candied sugar are in every element of this beer. Clear copper pour with eggshell head. Enjoyable beer, just nothing special.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Yeasty, lighter malt aroma. Spicy, yeasty flavor with banana and plum fruits and some malt backing. Medium-plus bodied. Spice lingers with yeast, banana, and some dark fruits. The ice cold serving temperature really ruins this beer.
