Feb 15, 2006 Updated: Apr 5, 2006Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber, creamy head. Hay-like hop aroma. There’s plenty of sweet malt up front. The mouthfeel is pleasantly rounded. Flavourwise it’s dominated by cookie malt, before a grassy finish with good bitterness sets in. A solid ESB.

Jul 25, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep amber with an orange glare with a small, thick and off-white head. Sweet caramelish and light roasted aroma. Flavour has the same with a light acidity and bitterness coming through.

Feb 21, 2006 Dark amber with a nicely broken head. Earthy hops, bread crust malts in the nose. Fairly sweet with light diacetyl in the background. Only hints of at the hops. The body is a bit syrupy. A few days young perhaps?
