GJF (238), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA Apr 27, 2008 On tap at the brewhouse. A solid pilsner. Good malt flavors, light hopping. Dry finish. Good, but doesn’t really take any chances either. rmussman (693), California, USA Apr 10, 2008 Pour is a dark blonde. Looks are normal with a thin lacey head with gaps. Very light on hops but rich malts. Goes dow quit nice, a well crafted pislner BillKismet (1439), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 26, 2008 Blonde-bronze. Standard looking for the style with a broken lakes head. Feint hop aroma and crisp light hop and malt flavor. Almost antiseptic tannic, bitter-sour finish. jasonp (1443), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Jan 18, 2008 From June 2007 tasting notes, sampled at Thirsty Bear. Attractive clear golden with a white head. Very faint, barely noticeable nose, a hint of grain and grass. The flavor is much more pronounced than the nose - pleasant light pils malty base, noble hops, lemon zest. Crisp and refreshing. Medium yet smooth/silky texture and proper, lively carbonation. Good beer, just needs some aroma hops. grant (763), Martinez, California, USA Sep 16, 2007 Dry, saltine cracker aroma. Juicily malty, bright hops, strongly bitter. Lightly husky, but still bright finish. Rather simple, but crisp and to the point.
