Dry, saltine cracker aroma. Juicily malty, bright hops, strongly bitter. Lightly husky, but still bright finish. Rather simple, but crisp and to the point.

Light Yellowish pour, smell of hops, yeast, and is quite bitter for a pilsener. almost IPA like bitterness. Definitely not one of my favorite pilsners, and I didn’t really care for this much. One of my least favorite of the 9 or so I tried from the Thirsty Bear in SF. Mine had a lingering aftertaste I didn’t care for as well.

Draught, Thirsty Bear. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a light note of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pleasant, clean, delicate rendition.

Light later nose with a hint of lemon, yellow color, no head. Faint citrusy note in the body. Thin. OK, but no so exciting. Clear, clean lager.

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Clean, fresh nose with a floral hoppiness. Medium body with a clean and lightly sweet malt base before a dry and floral hoppiness sets in. A very decent Pils. 240307
