Very mild taste, along with malty and a light hop flavour throughout. The finish is very smooth and subtle and remains mild. A very simple beer - done to the style, but not such a great offering. I sampled this beer on draught at the brewpub on 28-February-2007. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 21, 2006 pint comes a bright, suprisingly deep, amber, with a nice white head that retains well and leaves good lace. herbaceous nose, with deep woody notes, hangs heavy over a toasty maltiness, with a light nuttiness. super tasty pils starts clean and malty, with again a bit more character (toasted) than standard pils maltiness. hops balance nicely, with cleanly spiced flavors mixing in with a good solid kick of bittering. really outstanding, with a nice, crisp kick.
gorgeous take on a pilsner, though perhaps a bit a-typical in its malt character - but who cares? it’s an awesome drinking beer. a pils made w/pale ale malt? ratman197 (3240), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden. Dryish with dense, clean mouthfeel. A fair amount of grainy malt combined with some grassy, spicy hops and a lingering salty bitterness makes this a decent pilsener. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Very mild aroma, where I might be able to sniff a few faint pils type hops. Good hop characteristic however is taste - nice pils like taste. Light malt, light mouthfeel all come together - a good pils. Just put some aroma in to boost the rating! argo0 (6948), Washington DC, USA
