pivo (2484), Germany Jun 2, 2007 Floral hop nose, pale gold color. Bright high res hop tastes. Citrus notes too. Cuts through the spicy Spanish food we ate. Thin body--could you more body to support the hoppiness. But overall a good IPA. bb (2069), Martinez, California, USA Jul 21, 2006 Draft. Slightly hazy rich amber color with a nice off-white head. Tangerine, citrus, and pine aroma. Resiny flavor with tangerine/summer fruit. Good balance of fruitiness/bitterness. Lingering citrusy/resiny bitterness. ratman197 (2242), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 21, 2006 On tap @ Thirsty Bear poured a hazy copper with a small diminishing ivory head. Aromas of pine, carmel, earthiness and a bit of musk. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and light pine with a dry bitter finish. beerguy101 (3468), Newark, California, USA Jul 12, 2006 Tasted on tap at the Drakes 1st Annual Beer Festival and Washoes Tournament. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized head. Aroma is herbal and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are herbal and floral. Lots more of the herbal flavors in this one. Medium bitterness. Lots of fruitiness. Decent level of complexity here as well. Flavors are milder but there seem to be a lot more of them. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
